While our "Low-Maintenance" engineering protects against rot and insects, the natural color of wood will eventually develop a silver-grey patina if left untreated in the sun. To maintain the original Mahogany or Teak hue, a simple PU (polyurethane) coating can be applied periodically.

No. Because our wood is dried to a precise 8–12% moisture content in industrial kilns, the internal stresses of the wood are neutralized. This prevents the cracking and splintering typically seen in sun-scorched timber.
